Want to be more creative? Ever looked for pictures in the clouds? Then this kit is for you. It is my take on Impressionist painting, only here we are going to use simple stitches to hand sew it. I have hand dyed some luscious linen fabric using eco printing methods with plants from the garden. This is the basis for this kit, of natural colours and rich earthy hues. It has a different weight fabrics which makes it fabulous to manipulate, you poke, pinch and pull until you have sculptured the shape you want, then stitch it down.
Beautiful fabrics and threads to tempt you to create your own piece of fabric art. Backing board and framing mat provided ready for you to frame.
Everything is provided including a practice kit where you can practice your stitches if you are new to embroidery. The only thing you may want extra is some scissors and a glue stick.
So much fun to immerse yourself in this creative project, you can do as little or as much as you like, it is finished when you say it is. So, there is no reason for it to end up a UFO (unfinished object) It is easily achievable in a day, or you can do more and make the fun last. Either way, you will end up with a unique piece of impressionist linen art for your wall. I will not be giving you a template that says stitch here, but I will guide you all the way to explore your own artistic self and creative your own unique piece of fabric art.
